Sea Rocket 26
You can get from your condo to the turquoise waters of the Gulf in 20 seconds when you stay at Sea Rocket 26. You’ll never believe you could stay this close to the Gulf for such an affordable price. Sea Rocket 26 was built in the 1950s and retains all the charm and many of the décor elements associated with that nostalgic time in history. You have colorful Adirondack chairs scattered around the complex, shuffleboard, and a barbecue grill. The complex includes just 30 independently owned and meticulously maintained units giving it the real feel of a 1950s community by the sea.
“The Rocket” as some guests affectionately call it, can house up to four guests. The main living area encompasses a kitchen, sitting area, and bedroom. The small quarters make good use of the space. You have comfortable armchairs where you can sit and watch the wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DVD player and VCR. You also have free Wi-Fi within Sea Rocket 26, which makes it easy for you to share photos on social media, check out menus online for area restaurants, and send messages home to friends. On most days and evenings, you’re going to be out shelling, dining in amazing restaurants, sea fishing, and playing in the sand and surf. Your residence at Sea Rocket 26, while cozy and inviting, keeping the focus where it belongs on helping you make the most of the beach and the very best of Florida.
Maybe the only thing you’ll cook at Sea Rocket 26 will be your morning coffee. You’ll want to take a cup out outdoors to enjoy by the beach. However, if you want to heat up leftovers or even prepare a meal at Sea Rocket 26, you’ll find what you need to feed your family in the compact but newly remodeled kitchen with granite countertops. Just stop by a nearby grocery and pick up your ingredients. You can also use the Sea Rocket barbecues to cook up some steaks or burgers for your family.
When you’ve watched the last ray of sunlight disappear beyond the horizon, you’ll be ready to call it a day having climbed into bed for a restful sleep. With the Gulf breeze right outside your door, you’ll sleep well in your queen-sized bed.
If children or up to two adults join you at Sea Rocket 26, they can retire in the bunk beds located in the alcove. With its iron ladder and railings, the bunks definitely evoke a 1950’s look and feel.
Your Sea Rocket 26 bathroom has everything you need along with a distinctive 1950’s Florida appeal with brightly colored tiles and a shower curtain that adds a festive mood to your bath or shower.
Within the complex, there is a laundry room for guests as well as an ice machine so you’ll always keep your drink cool while you’re enjoying your cocktail by the sea.
Guests have told us that once they spend a vacation at Sea Rocket 26, they could never again be satisfied with a high-rise vacation. The Sea Rocket complex has stripped away all the hoopla and delivers the thing you want most of all from your Florida vacation: white sand beach right outside your door. Vacation doesn’t get any better than that.
